I was changing out the intake on my car yesterday gpt everything switched out then I reset the battery on my car everything went fine the cel stayed off then I drove around the town for a while went home and shut it down then about an hour later I started it up again and the service engine light came I took the new intake off put all stock back on and reset the computer again now the light goes off but it runs like crap is it my sensor or did I not leave the battery disconected long enough?

 

did you let your car idle after you installed? thats the only thing i can think of..let your car idle for 10-15 minutes after you turn it on with the aftermarket intake

 

Did you reconnect the vaccuum hose that's supposed to go on there?

 

Your talking about the hose on the back of the sensor right?

 

i'd make sure that everything is plugged in good and that the MAS is facing the right direction

 

In my case I have this same problem but I think you have to run with your car for about 4 days than after that it will go back in normal position or your sensor is gon it work for me
