Try parking your car in the garage.

Or you can get remote ignition like me and start your car without leaving the warmth of your house . (Illegal Schmillegal)

I am going to have to disagree with all remedies you guys have prescribed....I too have experienced the clutch chatter but only after alot of driving, i always let my car warm up accordingly and i dont push my car hard but after a 100+ mile trip, sometimes less, i start to hear the clutch chatter when idling, but when you press the clutch in, it goes away, you depress the clutch pedal, it chatters again etc etc etc...... so keep guessing guys, my guess is that you guys are riding your clutch too much and it is beginning to wear out or something....but my guess is as god as your.

I get that cluctch chatter also, but only when I haven't fully warmed it up (especially when defrost is on). After its warm there's no problem and I've taken it on a 1400 mile trip with no problems.

worn out clutch, probably due to clutch drop starts-warped? it is like a warped rotor. try to baby it for sometime, unless it is slipping, just have to wait until it is totally worn out.
