Lancer pistons on sale....

Hi guys,

Well I was asked to make custom forged piston sets by the NT Lancer crowd. Which I went ahead and did. Now I have quite a few on the shelf and I haven't sold a single set. Very discouraging.

These are custom Wiseco piston sets, I have them in standard and .020 over bore. They come with rings, pins and retainers. We kept the weight very light on the piston and bumped the compression ratio .5. This makes them great for NT applications and turbo applications. This is a very strong piston and can handle turbocharging and 30psi of boost without a problem.

We priced them to sell at $435 but since nobody has bought a set I want to sell them off and not restock them. I will watch what I take time to build in the future.

I am going to offer these for $400 for a complete set INCLUDING shipping in the attached 48 States. When they are gone, they are gone.

Thanks guys,

David Buschur

hrm, I will have to see how I fare after paying all my bills end of this week. I'm always interested, but I rarely have money is the only problem. I will see what I can do, this could be worth-while

Dave, do you have to do any changes on the engine block for this to fit or do they just drop right in the stock engine block?

they're drop in, if you stay with the stock bore, and don't need the over-bore, you'd have to check cylinder wear when the head is off to determine if it needs to be bored out or just honed

I think everyones waiting on someone who's alreay bought these to dyno there car, and work out the little problems that arise. Once that happens I can see these becoming much more popular.

^ditto...

a shame that NONE were bought after people were asking for them. if i weren't scraping enough for the odd parts that i have, i would want this hands down. hopefully i can get these at this price in the future...

I didn't install them yet, but I got several quotes/estimates for about $800.00 for just swaping pistons.
