I read in the thread that the sway bar will create more oversteer but i thought the point of it was to even out the pressure on the heavy side when going around a corner and put it to the opposite side to help even out body roll and help keep the other wheel more firmly on the ground which in return i would think would lessen oversteer. any input? also Polar i see it says you have the RRM Front strut bar, i didn't think it was finished yet or did i just miss it on the site? and does anyone have any pics of the rear strut bar installed? I have a sub in my trunk but also would like to get the rear strut bar but dont know how that is going to work out.

Front strutbar is done but not on the site yet. I will start a thread today or tomorrow. I am having back surgery Weds,so I will be out for a month at the least.

FYI all 08s have a front swaybar. There are different sizes for different models. Our rear bar is designed to balance out with which ever bar you have. That is why it is adjustable.

You're thinking wrong. The car naturally UNDERsteers. This will add oversteer to the system (the goal being neutral steering, of course). It shouldn't make the car oversteer like a RWD, but it will add oversteer to the handling (keep reading that until it makes sense).

Call RRM to buy the front strut bar. Not everything's on the Internet...

You can have a rear strut bar - it's in a different place than the sub. You can have both.

Then you should have read my response... if you have the factory sub, you're fine.

This is true...most cars are designed to understeer b/c it is safer. Neutral steer is ideal, but they design for understeer b/c they don't want the car to oversteer since it is unstable.

i know where it goes and i know it would work fine with a stock subwoofer. but i have an aftermarket sub and if you look on my cardomain page there is a pic of its location and i am already pretty sure i cant have both as the bar would be going right where the sub is. also how did anyone make the holes for the bar to go through. i want it to look very professional with two holes the exaxt size of the bar, i was thinking of just taking off the 2 side panels then trying to find the exact location where the bar would go through and cutting holes then sliding the bar through each hole and bolting it up. so then i have the bar installed to my car then going through each of the side panels. then fastening the side panels and hoping i put that hole in the exact spot i wanted it. is there better way to do this that would be more precise?

1. Your CarDomain page hotlinked me to a spam site about Malware.
2. Don't assume that I'm going to check your mods. If you have a non-stock sub, mention it.
3. As for whether or not it'll fit, it depends on your personal setup. Pull up the sides and look at where the strut tops are and decide if it'll fit.
4. No, the way you described is pretty good.

just had this installed yesterday. i like

feels more "direct" in relation to steering. way less body roll when taking an offramp/onramp or turn semi hard

can't wait to pick up my strut tower bar, in the next week.
