New Toyo Proxes 4 Available for EVO & Lancer

Just got my official pricing from Toyo tonight. Looks like the new Toyo Proxes4 is going to be a tough tire to beat. They are moving it in the lower price range but with the high technology design. Sizes range from 15" up to 19"

Here is where I stand currently:
Proxes 4
235/45-17 $124.00
205/40-17 $85.00
215/40-17 $103.00
215/45-17 $101.00
245/45-17 $121.00

Sizes listed are the best choices for EVO/Lancer owners. If you want to upgrade, now you have to think hard if you want to save $40 a set for cheaper less advanced tires or pick up the newest name brand tire from Toyo.

If you want to see a picture of the tire to to : www.frisbyracetire.com,(under wheel packages) or Toyo.com or, the newest Import Racer Magazine.

This tire is made especially for street tuners, sport compact up sizing. Plus this tire incorporates Toyo's latest tire technology(2003) Any questions as me here or PM me.

what about the 15' inch tires for OZ? What variations do you have there with pricing?

205/55/15
205/50/15
or
195/50/15?

Thanks Wadad

These tires are made to be excellent in the rain. In fact they are M&S rated. Which means they "can" be used in snow and mud.

As for the 15" sizes, only two sizes
205/50-15 $75
195/50-15 $65

for current T1S pricing they are all listed on my website. http://www.frisbyracetire.com/toyo_proxes_t1s_2003.htm

FYI, Toyo is expected to raise prices, I can't tell if the new prices include the increase. But "ALL" tire companies are raising prices or have raised prices. 3% doesn't seem like much, but on a T1s it can add up quick.

Very nice prices on what looks to be a very nice tire. They are lighter compared to other tires in the same "class" too. Too bad I just bought my Yoko ES100s otherwise I would jump on this.

Let me add some info here.

The new Proxes 4 is an all season tire. This means you can use in all types of weather. It is M+S rated which means it can be used in mud and snow. This said, it is not a snow tire, but it will give you traction that is as good as any all season tire that isn't as performance built. In fact it is for sure better than the cheap Yoko's they put on the stock lancer. I love Yokohama but those were not very good tires.

I get lots of questions on this, so I just wanted let you all know. Additionally the FZ4 is all season as well and is also M+S rated.

I figured I'd post here since I've been using the FZ4
s since March of this year. I only have the stock Goodyears to compare these to.
They grip. I can still break them loose but they def bite and it takes some doing to get them to go over that grip limit. Once they come back into their grip range it's like a cat chasing a mouse over hardwood floors and then back onto carpet- hold on!
Their wet traction is excellent. This past week we had 5" of rain in one day and I drove a lot. Lots of standing water and moving water on the freeways. I was very comfortable at 70MPH in rain so heavy it looked like someone had turned a hose on the city. Other Lancers that I passed were doing 50 and looked scared

At $75 the 205/50-15 are a STEAL!!! This guy's gettig ripped off! When I bought mine each tire was $109 (or close to it).
I don't know what rating these have, mine are V rated.
