I am thinking about getting the 2005 Outlander XLS 2WD ST and trade my 2004 Mitsubishi Ralliart. Anyone experienced this car before? Is it worth the trade? Thanks in advanced!

My wife drives a 2003 Outlander LS AWD. Haven't driven the new ST, but, did drive the 2004 autotrans, and judging by the fact that it's probably the same tranny from the Lancer... probably be similar driving experience.

However, bet that the Outlander is significantly heavier than a Ralliart, so, if you're needing to move some **** around, or an SUV is your cup of tea... I'd say go for it. If you're looking at it from a "fun to drive" standpoint... I'd imagine the ralliart has the advantage (same engine, same trans, lighter [?]).

 

my mom bought an 04 awd outlander right after i bought my car and she loves it. it all depends on what you like. would u rather have a suv or sporty sedan. i tell you though it seems a lot slower.
