EVO or Integra Type R?
Both are really good cars. If your going to commute I would go for the ITR but if this is for pleasure I would go for the EVO. Another thing is if you can spend the cash for the evo and the insurance. If you get the ITR be sure its in your garage at night lol. Good luck with your decision. Its like a win win choice.
Good question actually. I always wanted a Type-R, like a yellow one or something, just for fun. I mean, it would be really novel and whatnot. I had a 95 Volvo T5-R in Dakar yellow (185 produced in that color, <1000 total, 240HP, really nice car) and I got in an accident

1001 unfortunate circumstances converged to cause the accident. Not a lot of experience in FWD cars, brand new tires, rain, all that stuff. I had the car for less than two weeks. It sucked.
It was a performance model of a commuter car, and I wasn't treating it like that. The Evolution is a commuter version of a race car. There's no way I would've gotten into a slide in the Evo at 65mph. (It was on the freeway.) The Volvo just couldn't take it.
The Integra Type-R is a performance version of a commuter car, just as the Volvo was. Just because it comes with factory performance parts, doesn't mean that the car doesn't have the same soul it was born with. The Evolution was born from mud, and dirt, and water peppered rally courses all over the world. There is no real comparison.
Drive an Evolution, and Drive a Type-R. Not at 30 around the block. At 110 on a track. Only then could you understand. No comparison.
But hey, like I said, I've always wanted a Type-R.
