Audi S4 Cabriolet

I test drove 2 Audi S4's yesterday at the dealer. First I test drove a black S4 cabrio, then I drove a red S4 sedan. Both cars are similar but do drive differently. The sedan drives better but the cabrio is awesome with the top down. I loved the cabrio so much I plan on ordering one by the end of the month. Still trying to stomach the 62,000 dollars in order to buy one. I still might buy a honda civic and a mitsubishi evo. These type (except the civic) are real performance cars and even though the mitsubishi performs better and is cheaper, the audi's are still made better. What should I do? I feel like I want an evo but I also want the s4.

are u kidding, evo all the way. The price doesnt justify the car. You could get a ZO6 for that amount of money. I would def. go with option 2.

tough call. i wouldve bought an S4 had i thought i couldve afforded it. it is such a nice car, and audis are so well built. so much money though. expensive to mod, and expensive to fix (if you are in it for the long haul) i am sooo happy with my evo though. good luck. personally i would buy an evo, and a used bi-turbo S4. those things are hott.

I've looked at the S4 cabrio as well (to replace my wife's TT). The cabrio, for what it is, is a very nice car. Sure it may cost more (a lot more) than an Evo, but the S4 and Evo are two totally different cars with different purposes. You just need to figure out which car fills your needs better (or makes your blood rush more).

Saying the "price doesn't justify the car" is like saying the guy in the Aston Martin should've gotten an Evo because it handles better.

The new Audis (2002+) are pure crap. My dad is the head tech. at a big dealership and does nothing but **** and moan about the new Audi build quality, especially the 1.8T engine and the S4 bi-turbo.

GrimDog, the 2005 S4 cab has a 4.2 liter V8. The B5 S4 (model years 2000-2003) have a 2.7 liter bi-turbo engine. Different engine and a different car. I have heard about the turbo's breaking after 40,000 miles or so. Ask your father about the new S4 rather than the old ones.
