He has to still be a Texas Ranger if he showed me a badge, plus he mentioned he used to have a sensor for the exhaust noise and he had a radar gun in Utah. He mentioned they would pull over guys running catless and would give them tickets along with pulling over cars speeding, all in the STi.
yah, maybe he was reserve??

all i know is, this guys got too many job titles, w/ one quick cop car.

he would have to run me off the road or call a real unit to stop me... how would you know if it's a real cop?? the Police Interceptor badge??? please, these fools who get strobes, intercom, and an "i support state troopers" badge could easily fit this description of a serial killer or rapist...

I'm sure he attaches lights on top of his car or has them on top of his dash when on patrol. If you wait for backup to arrive before pulling over you may get another ticket for resisting arrest.

Vegas has some crazy ****. Ive seen cops pull people over with a new red mustang cobra, a silver minivan, and all sorts of crazy ****. Oh, and they are on duty and in uniform in these cars, not just off duty cops driving their home cars.

As far as I know the MP's jurisdiction is on and around the military base. Anything outside that, they need to call local PDs for support. It sounds strange too that he pulls over cars in the Sti and it's modified. Meaning he too is breaking the law by have things on the car that may not be smog legal.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this guy around on base...or there's another STI at Sandia Labs... Haven't talked to any of them yet, though.

i feel this is only good for us... having a cop who is knowledgable in sti's etc etc means he will respect evos, not assume or treat us unfairly... they wont give stock evo's a ticket for the spoiler, they wont give a ticket for muffler noise unless its seriously obnoxious....

He is smog legal, but he was wanting to run catless when he hits the track he said in the future. I told him New Mexico doesn't have emissions. I think Albuquerque does if you live there, but if not you can run catless all day. Hell most cars I see around here don't even have exhausts some may not even have seats inside. LOL

So your saying you wouldn't pull over for an unmarked car for whatever reasons even if it had police strobes on top of the vehicle?
