One of my guys at work had a Magnum for about 4 months, then he gave up on it. Real reliability issues. Although I don't rely on CR for any auto reviews the reliabilty ratings are very good. Proves nothing I know. As does the reliabilty of BMWs.

MBs are very near the bottom in reliabilty ratings of all cars sold in the US. The good news is that the Tourag finally beat the ML-Class as the least reliable car in the US.

Transmission; basically reverse would not work and he had some very crunchy downshifts. Interior bits fell off also. The idle was never stable.

bro get what u want. i like how ppl with lancers make stupid comments. all cars have issues as e46 m3 owners about there blown up motors. all cars have some type of issues. i have yet to hear any thing bad about the 300m

Thank you for the suggestion, but I have already made a non-refundable deposit. Additionally, I will never buy another Japanese car.

 

I own a 05 Chrysler right now and can tell you I have had all kinds of problems with it and the dealer. As for cars from Japan go drive a IS 300 and see the build quailty and high feel of the materials (mutch better the the Chrysler) and the rear drive with quick handling not to mention the best dealer service in the business. I know because I traded My A4 quattrro for one. All it needs is a turbo kit! But anyways the SRT8 will NEVER give you the same handling or thrill that these POS evos will. Yes I also have a 03 POS evo that I have changed just about every part on it and believe me I am not happy about it but I will not change its status in my colection as my sports car. It just seems you are not the EVO type. I bet if you paid off you evo and kept it for 5 years that its resale value will still be 80% of its sticker price (based on a $28,999 03 price) try that with Chrysler. But any way if you get bored with it you can always buy another one. Good luck.
