Wow. It's a leap of faith.

Your former evo owners are going to be testy.

The Mitsubishi was a leap of faith. After Mercedes bought Chrysler, the quality has skyrocketed (it didn't take much). I only keep cars for ~1 year, so I am not too concerned.

I test drove one too, and it felt cheap and clunky (just like every other US car ive driven). Don't get me wrong, I too sold my evo because it was a hunk of **** for anything other than raw performance, but getting an American car for reliability is folly.

ps. don't give me the "well MB bought them so it will be great!" German cars, while wonderful to drive are testy little *****es as well when it comes to upkeep. Consumer reports ranked every one of MB's cars as being poor for reliability.

Having spent the last 3 years as the Service Director at a high-volume BMW dealership, I am all too familiar with the shortcomings of German cars. I did not say that everything was great, but it did not take too much influence to make current Chryslers light-years beyond anything they have built in my lifetime. Anything is better than what they have been building for decades.

BTW, Consumer Reports is as useless to me as a one-armed wallpaper hanger. They specialize in justifying the mediocrity that middle-America is happy with. If you believe that rag's tripe, I have a bridge in New York to sell you.

Thanks! I will. I will also continue to enjoy my other cars as well.

What did you end up buying after you got rid of your "evo ...hunk of ****"?

Sorry, but the 300C's are not my cup of tea, in fact one of the ugliest tanks on the road.

Each to their own i suppose

Audi will be showing their RS4 soon - I think.

4.2L NA = 420bhp Supposedly, Audi will finally approach that 50/50 thing too(We'll see )

M3 - I think 4.0L = 400bhp.

Congrats on the car - the Gangster thing isn't my cuppa tea, but who the hell cares about what I think I aint paying the bill.

Now your Ultima is a nother story all-together

Thanks. I am sure that the E90 M3 will have 400HP. I doubt that the RS4 will come here. Certifying a new engine ain't cheap.

I would probably kill someone if I could use the Ultima as a getaway car.
