I think you drastically overestimate your Evo. From a standstill (like in a sanctioned 1/4 mile race), you should win. However, that's due to your AWD advantage. On a road course, that advantage disappears. If you want more evidence of this, the Caliber SRT-4 runs the 1/4 mile in 14.6 seconds at 100.3 MPH. The MR runs it at 13.7 at 100.2 MPH. The times are drastically different yet the trap speeds are nearly identical. Clearly the SRT-4 is having difficulty getting off the line. What's interesting is the difference is 0-60 time is about the same as the difference in 1/4 mile time.
Actually the SRT-4 (neon and caliber) was and still is used in rallying. It's also a good, cheap drag car and a decent track car. I'm guessing your the kind of guy who bad mouths the Cobalt SS despite the fact that it's as fast or faster than your precious MR.

And what mods do you have and what is your racing experience? SRT-4s have destroyed Evos and STIs at the track, hell I've watched an RSX wipe the floor with Porsches and Corvettes so naturally that means that the RSX can destroy Porsches and Corvettes any day in any race setting right?
Honda all the way. How many honda do you guys see breaking down then Dodge and Mitsubishi. I swear if Honda ever came out with and Fwd Rwd Awd turocharger car i think it be smoking alot of cars on the street.

Sheesh the evo is great yes, BUT it is not the greatest car ever created. Are they fast on any given day on any given race venue, yes. But still not the greatest thing since sliced bread. Are they nice to look at, hell yea. But still not the greatest thing in the world.
As i see it, both the Evo and the SRT4 have they're high points and low ones. All the guys on here posting oh my car this my car that, take a step back and really read what you are writing.
