Any time its cool with me, but let me come back from Iraq though . Im pretty sure i can say srt drivers are cocky cuz i used to be one , but i have grown up and all i know is that i wouldnt go back to the srt forums like some come back here after getting rid of an evo. And i can understand and evo is an expensive car so i can understand why you would have to go to a srt.

I owned an SRT-4 and modded from a roll have fun, too many act like "just a neon" will win them the race but in all seriousness that car can make 500whp on stock internals. I made 255whp and 303wtq with a 3" TBE and an AGP WGA. I ran a 13.1 with that car on street tires. I also know for a fact they can hang at the track with coilovers, sways and struts. It's been proven, they are cars that can easily hang in the straights, and in the corners. Wet/Snow/Gravel forget it but who tools on a Vette or Viper for not being able to do that either.

Huh, that was kind of a retarded post. I don't think I went at you on a personal level. If you are inferring I am unable to afford an EVO that is sad. Frankly I got sick of the car being down all the time because of broken transfercases and clutches. Those problems kind of took the fun out of driving the car. It seems like the new EVO's transmissions and transfercases are holding up better, but time will tell. I usually switch cars every two years and it was time for the EVO to go.

I just check on these forums because a lot of my friends are on here. You wont catch me posting in other sections besides the south section (well other than this stupid thread). You did prove something in you post that you think your car makes you who you are. Apparently by driving an EVO you have some how grown older... Not the case from what I am reading.... Im pretty sure i can say srt drivers are cocky cuz i used to be one , but i have grown up and all i know is that i wouldnt go back to the srt forums like some come back here after getting rid of an evo.

If you still want to race when you get back let me know. I would be happy to help you out. Just know that you are going to lose bad with your current mods. Remember I hang out with those older civilized EVO guys and race many of them on a normal basis.

You must be the guy who keeps track of SRT-4 1/4 mile times, no wonder your yawning

noone gives a **** about a 22K car that's FWD and in a totally different class. If an SRT-4 beats me whatever, i'm not that fast, and I know several SRT-4 guys that would destroy me from a roll.

this thread wouldnt have started if the guy didnt feel threatened by the srt4. they are and can made to be fast for street performance period. i have met cool guys driving them, maybe there are a few younger cocky diiicks but thats because they are affordable. i got pulled on from a roll by one putting down 400whp. did i go to him and say" hey from a dig i'll beat u" no i just took the beating like a man. down the road he will run into a faster evo or maybe i'll get him from a dig and have better results.

I say do a compitition. I'm about ppl getting what they can afford and being proud of it. The SRT-4 is an alright car. I wouldn't buy it but thats my personal choice doesn't reflect toward any SRT-4 owner. However, where I'm at I always have these turbo'ed neons cut and weave through traffic just so they can next to me and then blow off. WHY??? to me its retarded. I drive to do what I have to do and do my track time and cruise driving. Time to time I have to put these cars in their place cuz they are persistant and won't go away when I wave them off. A couple I've invited to the track and they back down. What gives SRT-4 owners?

My best friend has an Srt4 and he knows the evo will put him in his place. However i've had a few other srt4's that are bone stock try to run me and i don't see the point. There's really no point to a race if you know you're going to win.
