Sold Lancer bought SRT-4

Sorry guys, I sold out. A couple of days ago I got an offer on my Lancer that I couldn't refuse, so I sold it . It was tough to see it go, I loved that car.

Yesterday I picked up my brand spanking new SRT-4 I love this car! For the price, I don't think you could beat it. And the Evo isn't comming to Canada until 2007(maybe?) so I picked the next best thing imo (for the price). This car is damn fast and has a pretty nice interior

Well it was nice to be a part of this forum filled with tons of great and helpfull people. Best of luck to all of you lancer guys in the future.

Here is a picture of what my car looks like

Take care

Scotty J.

I believe they are 230whp stock w/a quaife Lsd, Dodge underrated the horsepower from the factory. My friend has a stage 2 srt4 and it feels nice when it goes into boost! I can feel the difference between my turbo lancer and the srt.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I believe the stock numbers are 240hp and 250lbs. And it does how the lsd. I can't wait until I break the engine in so I can really stomp on in! Right now I'm only giving it like 1/2 throttle and staying 1k below redline and it is still a monster!!

srts are nice, definately a step up from the lancer. IMO the lack of AWD makes the cars power potential (to the ground) far less than an it could have been if would have dodge used an AWD platform (and on a sidenote not a NEON )

congrats on your purchase man.....I'm an SRT-4 fan and I really like that new orange color. There's a guy that comes to our car meets with that color and it looks nice. I had an '04 SRT-4 and I still can't get over how fast that little car was. You're gonna like it a lot. First thing you gotta do though is make that thing handle. Hotchkis makes a suspension kit that includes lowering springs and front/rear sway bars for around $500 and supposedly it makes a BIG difference cuz the stock handling leaves a bit to be desired. Also the you can really improve the shifter by getting a Perrin or Mopar short shifter with the booger bushings.....it'll shorten up the throws a LOT and the booger bushings replace the stock rubber ones with urethane so it has a much more precise throw. There's so much mods you can do to that car it's just nuts....have fun!
