Everyone knows by now that the lancer and neon will be the same car in 2005......but some people are now saying that there will be hatchback variants and that the colt will be the mitsu hatch of the lancer and this unnamed car will be the neon hatch variant..........

This isnt' anything terribly new. It's what Mitsu said they'd bring out when they showed the CZR concept vehicle, that there'd be something like 3 variants of the same chassis. It's been mentioned before. Just gotta find it now.

 

I know the colt isn't new, the Chrysler version of it is new to me!
yeah I know of the CZ2 and CZ3 also, the US tarmac spyder version kinda killed the front end for me...........this is the cool cz3

 

Why must they resemble small rodents? I blame the Honda Civic Si for popularizing the look most recently.

I too, refuse to call that thing a colt. Giving it a couple letters and numbers for a name is fine, but colt. No how. No sir.
