the MX-5 Auto which is really easy to live with for older folks who don't want to drive stick anymore, is actually a 6-speed and the shifts are pretty good... In tiptronic mode, it actually doesn't shift for you, the revs just bounce off the limiter...

man im really tempted to go get a mazdaspeed miata... the engine is ready and built to handle boost, and the handling is so nice- the new NC is just as fast, but factory turbo power is better. think the wife will file for divorce if i get a mazdaspeed miata? she was pretty pissed when i traded in the 02 wrx wagon for my 05 sti...

I just read the SCC article on the MX-5... looks good, better than the Miata by a long shot. I still probably wouldn't buy one, but I'd drive the pants off of that thing!!

yea its so fun driving the crap out of new cars. the new mx-5 is pretty easy to handle going side ways also. luckly no one was outside lol

Oh yeah, been there done that... One night I forgot there was a huge speed "HUMP," not bump, but HUMP near my dealership, I was doing about 45 in a MPV... guess what happens next.... and if anyone asks... this event never happened...
