Now if the article i got these from was a blatant lie, well I apologize.

Don't get me wrong, the Porsche is a sweet car. The GT2 is one of my favorites. But the Corvette is faster than the old 911. And the 911 will have a several years on it for the same price as a vette.

2006 Z06, wicked car and all the problems with the regular vette ironed out. Big brakes, strong engine, lightened and strengthened body, and if you want race heritage look at the vette's devastation on the race circuit within the last 5 years. Service will be considerably cheaper as well as upgrades, repairs, and the purchase of extended warranties.

The Vette has taken almost every major race this season 1st and 2nd. For you money the Vette is gonna give more.

Sounds like deep down you want the Porsche. Its a sweet car man, go for it. Your not gonna go wrong owning either the 911 or a brand new vette. Your not going to regret either one. Your talking about the highest echelon of automotice excellence....2 cars that 99.999% of americans will never have the pleasure of owning. So just go pick one and don't look back.
