That is enough for me right there.

 

Regardless the Veyron is an engineering marvel. Sure anyone can spend enough money and make something else that goes a bit faster, but my god no one would have thought of all the s**t that they put on that car. If your an engineer, you can app. the work that went into making all that up...and then bringing it to reality.

On a side note, the Veyron is LIMITED to 252.x becaues they felt the Tires would not hold up for ****, which they wont. So its not really a race to see who can get 300 first engine wise....they need a bloody "street" class tire that can take the heat first

A little birdy told me that the Hennessey Comp coupe that did 0-220 in 24 seconds might be lining up with a Veyron very soon for a magazine article. That would be an interesting race to say the least.

 

I will take the new Corvette SS over the Veyron. The SS will destroy the Veyron in all performance aspects.

 

^I guess well have to wait and see. It kinda sounds kinda cheesy tho. Corvette SS, compared to Z06, Z06 sounds much more pleasing.

 

SS is just what people are calling it - GM hasn't said what it will officially be named.

Venon has my vote! That thing is just sickening. Plus, theres room for more power aside from the Bugatti which is pretty much take it the way it comes.

 

Bugatti definitely has the plus overall, but performance wise, Venom owns it. Also, the Venom definitely looks fast and aggressive like, unlike the Veyron which looks like a boar of some sort with that snout.

I'm thinking the Veyron will be faster 0-60, faster in 1/4mi, faster top speed.

I dont see sub 3sec 0-60 times, sub 10sec 1/4mi times, and 250+mph top speeds.

I'm sure the base Corvette is faster than the Veyron on a road course, so the "SS" shouldn't have a problem there. But acceleration is another thing, especially since the Veyron is AWD and has 350hp more.

 

Makes you wonder how many 200+ runs the Venom's tires can handle.
