So again you need to calm down as this thread started as an all domestic thread and by no means was intended to put the Evo over the Cobra, which is unnecessary. I didn't even mention the Evo in my original post.
Newbies....go figure

philly is a 20 minute drive away, and yeah, stock cobra's and evos can hang for the most part, but right now this one is running in the high 10's, not trying to bash anyone here, this isn't the guy with the lancer writing right now, i'm a little calmer than him.
Actually yes, I ran 11.22's on 18" rims, street tires (Kumho 712's actually), no R compound drag radials, with a road race setup, ie. lowered, balanced. I only dialed down the compression damping on the rear to full soft and granny shifted my way to that time. A 2600lb. car only needs around 450rwhp to run high 10's when the suspension is dialed in and using drag radials. I'm sure my car is as capable of running into the 10's as yours. I could simply go from 24 to 30psi and pick up quite a bit of hp. Ultimately it's not your RWHP but your power to weight that really matters. I've taken out so many "bad ***" Cobras from a roll it just isn't fun any longer. Hey, there's always someone faster but again, you completely missed the point of the thread and honestly we now question whether or not you're sporting a mullet. I mean you really came across as being a complete idiot. Read the post from the very beginning to understand why. Just because your car can outrun a stock Evo in the 1/4 doesn't make you or your car superior. If we pick five speed contests and you loose four but win the straight line drag, which is the better car? A stock Evo can outhandle, out brake, and generally drive circles around a stock or mildly modded Cobra on a road course which IMHO, is a better indicator of how good a car is. And btw, I've owned no less than four Mustangs since 1985.

Ughhh...I always hated those damn stock 10th anniversary, and don't know why Ford chose to put uglier rims on the 10th anniversary than the regular stock cobra's. Other than that, the car is sick, and I love Cobra's, but the Evo is far superior to the Cobra when it comes to all-around performance. Until the day a Cobra is compared to Porsche's and such and wins or is nominated for any car of the year awards, or top 20 of year or something like that, than that's the day I will buy one.
yeah, but how many people own a skyline in nj? and if there is someone, i would love to shake their hand, and supras are right there with them, and thats a hell of a run with that rx-7, i have a friend with one that runs in the low tens, like i said, i have a lot of respect for them. And yes, mustangs suck on turns, my celica thats posted up in here can take his cobra in a small track(in case you haven't realized it yet, its more than one person under this name).

The Skyline might not be around, but the Supra is. Haven't heard of anyone daily driving a 1400HP Cobra, however the Supra on the other hand

yeah, i'm not arguing with you there, it is what it is and nothing more, and in my opionion, i would take the supra or skyline over the cobra every day(this isn't the owner of the cobra). And as for that supra, its no place near nj, theres not a lot of high powered cars over here, and most of the racing here is 1/4 mile racing, so its one of the dominant ones, but still not the quickest.
Maybe not many skylines in NJ, but there are many skyline powered 240's running around.
Especially with a huge distributor of skyline engines, front clips, and various other imported JDM goodies, right there in NJ.
