The 03-04 Cobras put down incredible power so cheaply, however Im just not impressed with their overall performance. Just seems they need a lot more power to beat cars like EVOs. Ive raced a couple around here, the only one I lost to was full exhaust, intake, pullied, methanold injection yada. He yanked me a car at the top of 4th, but overall, I was just really unimpressed. I was more impressed with the Z06s

A mustang owner myself, I really have to give credit to my evo. It honestly beats it in every aspect but one, that is that unique V8 exhaust growl, and I have AALLOOOTTT of work done to my stang, 650WHP to be exact. But I still love my stang .

Just wondering but did you race them from a roll or a dig? Did the other Cobras race have traction issues? Also have to remember the 03-04 cobras are around 500lbs heavier then you.

Roll-ons only. I rarely get stoplight races and when I have been next to them at the line, they refuse to race. The last guy said and I quote "I'm not gonna run you from stop but from 40 I will." So we did and I obliterated him from a 2nd gear roll on. He only had intake/exhaust though.

Thank you. No, I havent yet. Ive been skeptical of going purely because Im on stock clutch and I felt like I'd just be disappointed in my ETs, however, I am quite curious what I can trap. Ive pulled some quite impressive cars from roll-ons so Im quite confident I can hit 118. A couple local guys think I will do even higher. A lot of guys only compare track times but I use the street as my comparisons. Tons of racing around here available, sadly most is roll racing, but that gives you a good comparo of power!
