99 Eclipse Cyclone Engine

This is Billy again with the 99 Eclipse GS. On one of my recent post, I was replied that the cyclone engine would fit my car with the proper type of autotuning. Off anyone's 'top of head' what would I be looking to replace? The engine mounts, or the tranny--basically, what makes it differ from my right side tranny(?) of the engine to the supposed left side? Also, does the cyclone engine come w/ turbo-being at a 220 hp(sounds like a stupid question, I know) and how much torque is that? **Also, I'm currently running an open exhaust-question* does open exhaust add any sort of HP? Is open exhaust better, is open exhaust not good*--yes, I'm eventually going to buy a full HKS cat, but i don't happen to have 5 bills on me.

For the turbo question, yes it is a turbo engine, and if you order the engine the tranny should come with it, and the cyclone engine I believe is still a right hand side transmission, it's still an eclipse engine, just the 1st generation engine. And isn't open exhaust when you run just a straight pipe out, I believe that that would increase flow very much, but you should run both a regular exhaust and then an open exhaust, I've seen setups where people just flipped a switch and it change the exhaust from running out of their cat and muffler to just a straight pipe on the side of the car. For what you have to replace like i said the tranny should come with it, and what you would need to do is get motor mounts, and change your ecu from what I know off the top of my head, I'm sure it has a little bit more invloved than that, but those would deff have to be performed with an engine swap.

the motor mounts are in comepletely different places, you would have to weld the new mounting points in, i haven't looked into this swap too much in a 2g, but in my 1g, it would require way too much sheetmetal relocation to make things fit. buy a gs-t motor and put on a cyclone intake manifold, thats the only real difference besides the turbo and the exhaust manifold.
