....i dont think people will like the gt500 as much as you think.. go check out what the people have to say over at svtperfomance.com they said that ford made that car only able to hold the power that it comes with stock.... unlike the badass 03-04 cobras...

they said pulley changes are going to be tuff.. etc... not going to be modd friendly at all..

and ... a brand new gto only costs 33k... and you can get a used 2004... with under 10k miles for 19k not a bad deal if you ask me..

Don't get the 04 GTO. Poor brakes and not as much power.

If you want a car that's easier on your daily commute and still woop some a$$ when, get a GTO.

If you want a car that will out handle almost anything with 4 doors, then get an Evo.

I've driven both and I think the only way you can really make that sort of decision is by driving both. I think Pontiac should allow to keep a GTO overnight if you are serious.
