Integra - Pro's Con's?
I had a '96 4 door Integra GSR. It was a great car! don't believe the crap about them being slow. With a header, cat back and intake it ran the 1/4 mile in 15.4 seconds. After I added a Jackson Racing supercharger it ran 14.0 at 99 mph... Bear in mind that it's a FWD with open diff.... If I had racing tires and LSD I would have probably broken into the 13s. Oh yeah, it also got over 30 mpg with the supercharger! Oh yeah, I've also seen 140 in the speedo in very few seconds!!!
I also dropped it and put coil overs, etc. The ride was severely degraded, but the car did corner very well. If I did it over, I'd put a turbo in it and just upgrade the shocks and springs to try to match the ITR. Don't lower ther car and don't add forced induction without a good fuel management system. Otherwise the car is very, very good. Don't listen to crap by Honda and Acura haters, they don't know crap because they are comparing the car to an EVO or a turbo Supra or some other badass car
or they don't even know what they are talking about at all...
If you like the Integra GSR, go for it, it's a very nice car. Even in stock condition.

I had..umm..3 Integras, all DC2s (cant beat that guy above me with 9 though!).
Overall, great car, great learning experience for me personally (easy to work on) and dead sexy if done up right.
My last Integra had a B20 block mated to a B18C head with 98 spec R cams with a standalone ECU. End result was over 200 to the wheels + short gearing = an absolute blast.
Of course, it was a stepping stone to bigger and better things, but I'll never forget the fun I had in these cars.
