Nope in all types ,handling,acceleration,braking,not to mention practicality of having a 4 door compared to a 2-door coupe. And this all stock for stock not to mention how easy it is to add power to the Evo. The Ininfiti you can add a Supercharger but it still will be lucky to even get into the 12's. Best of luck in your choice you see which one I made.

The G35 is a completely different car then the Evo. It all depends on what you want out of it. The Evo will out run it in almost every situation, even more so when modded, but the G35 offers something the Evo doesn't have...sexyness.

I went through this debate already. 2 different cars period. It depends on what you want the car for.
Performance=EVO
Style = G35
The G35 always ranks high, but the EVO always seems to be the favorite for performance.
I got the feeling you are probably gonna want an EVO. Mods easier for maximum performance.

EDIT: I thought I was gonna be post#2! This thread is gonna take off!

FWIW, I love the G35 coupe and would love to have one as a daily driver, but the answer to your questions is "no" as I mentioned previously. Just wanted to be sure you knew I wasn't being a fanboi or hater giving an uneducated answer...

Why don't you browse www.g35driver.com or www.6mt.net and read up on the G? Even check the classifieds. Often you can find someone selling a TT G35 for close to, sometimes cheaper than the price of a new evo. The G35 is a great car, like everyone else said, it just depends on what you want.

like the others said, it can't keep up but who really buys a G to race? It's a nice mix btw performance and luxury.

ehh... comming from what, 115 - 125 tops, 280 is going to be a vast improvement to what i have already. Plus I can get parts under warranty with Nismo (but thats not waht were talking about) So no way huh?

I'm tired of having 4 doors, had a 4 door Accord before this

The G35 is straight sexy tho

The G isn't bad with a few mods. With a Z tube, HFC, Y-pipe/exhaust and plenum spacer you should be trapping ~106-108. While it's not evo fast, it's still pretty quick. Coming from a 4 door Accord, I'm sure it would be more the enough. Plus all the mods I mentioned can be installed with the factory warranty still intact.

You know that 280hp number for the G35 is crank rated right...its more around 225whp.Your are coming from a 90-110 whp car so really anything would be an improvement even a civic.

the car be4 my evo was a 03 red g35 coupe and i love the car... the g35 cant keep up wit the evo in any performance contest...period but sumthing the evo lacks is the luxury. i do sumtimes miss the nice features like heated seats and the navi. but if u want all performance then the evo is def the way to go but if u want a car thats good in all aspects then i think the g35 is the way to go.. just my $.02
