Silvia s15?

Well, the other day I was talking to my friend and he said that they sell s15's in Canada. First of all, is this true? If so, would I have to pay a bunch of money to get it registered in the U.S. or could I just drive it across the border? Thanks a bunch for your help.

EDIT: Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just don't know a lot about importing cars.

That is indeed an s15, but do you know if they sell them in Canada?

You're going to get hasseled when importing cars. First of all the S15 hasnt had a platform for crash test ratings and most of all you're going to get hasseled for emissions. The switching VIN numbers is illegal and I wouldn't do it.

If you're importing from Japan. Impossible without the cash

From Canada...I dont know much...might wanna check out zilivia.net or freshalloy.com on that one.

My friend (Not the one pictured above) could get you one, with a US title for ~26k. Loopholes are fun.

How? And by the way as of right now I don't have the cash to buy one I was just wondering if it's a possibility because I would like to own one some day.

I think the S15 is dead sexy. I'd have probably bought one over my DSM if they were available here.

What more is there to know? If you had the cash to pony up for a JDM car, he'd get it over here, get a title and plate from his local DMV (Last Silvia he titled read "NIS SIL") and ship it to you to be registered in your state, SMOG permiting...
