Sad thing is, I actually am a Ford guy, but no way would I ever consider dropping the IX for that pig. It weighs over two tons. No way it can handle. ZO6's completely stomp that thing for the roughly the same money (mark up on the Shelby's is obscene). Put an Evo IX or VIII on a track with that Shelby, and I bet the Evo is right there with that Stang, or maybe even superior.

NO, I have AWD with an ACD. great handling, awesome braking. and love the look on a guy with a V-8 when he gets beat by a 4 cylinder

Nope. I had a 2003 SVT cobra...every bit as fast as the Shelby despite a difference of about 100hp, and I traded it in for my Evo. Never regretted it once.
