Newb with an SRT-4

i would take a hit on the car and trade it in. IMO it doesn't matter what kind of car you have...as soon as you start modding you can't stop. you'll end up dumping money into the car. at least if you trade it in now you can start modding an evo. don't get me wrong i think srt4 are fast and cheap to mod, but its still a FWD car. upgrade to the AWD
Actually you wouldn't at all lol (believe me I would know). As a matter of fact they say how much they wish they can get one, or if they could afford one it'd be the car they'd be driving, and how sexy it is haha. Don't believe me, look for yourself. But their are a fair share of jackasses over their as well, but still think this place is worse than over there.
Well see, if I knew I could get financed for an EVO I sure would go find a used 03-04... $20,000 or so however with a credit score of 598 I think I would need to get rid of my $1600 in credit card debt, and my $800 dell account off my hands as well as selling the SRT-4 to be able to attempt that. I only make $1600 a month before taxes, I can swing the payment and I would be perfectly content with owning an EVO and slowwwwwlllyyyyyy modding it with small stuff JUST to have an EVO... it would probobly sting my finances just as much as my SRT-4 has doing all the crap I have and will do to it but I don't want to get rid of my SRT-4 only to find out that I can't get financed for an EVO. Hey all, I have a 2005 Black SRT-4 with minor mods to start, Progress springs, window tint and BWoody dog bone solid motor mounts. I had an AGP WGA, CTi side exit 3' turbo back exhaust and a mopar STS but decided to get rid of those things and start over by working on my suspension first, I plan to get my coilovers, hotchkis sway bars and a dc sport or pwerks rear strut bar along with wider wheels, a 16X7.5 with 225/40/16 tires up front and 17x7.5 with 22/50/17s in the rear because I have heard this set up helps alot in the handling and traction department, I however am a huge fan of the EVO and it will be my next car, I owe $11,000 on my 05 with 33k right now and don't know weather to keep it and continue on my mod path or pay it down and get rid of some credit cards and put myself on a limb a bit to have the car I always wanted even though I love my SRT-4. I have included pictures below, tell me what you think
















If you really want serious power/traction/handling/whatever, then you should def. consider paying off for your car and upgrading to Evo
Yeah you really told me. Hey I think everyone should pile in your car and you can take us to Chuck E. Cheese. Maybe we can just end this by saying that you car is far superior to the evo. That would be the reason I will probably just find a SRT-4 to invest the money you have invested and be proud to say I have a fast car. The person that should really be ashamed is you. I never bashed you. I do think you are an idiot, but up to this point I never said it. I am just trying to get you going. Is the evo or sti a drag car? No. Is yours? Did someone imply the evo or sti was? No. Did you see the video on Streetfire of the 500hp neon running in a cloud of smoke?... 30,000 dollars on the RSX? If I owned one, I would be insulted. Where are you getting your parts from? I think you may need to stop defending and start coming the realization that nobody is bashing you, just the car of choice. What you need to do, instead of arguing, is go figure how you are going to justify trying to bash me when I never insulted you, just the piece of crap SRT-4. For what it's worth, it wouldn't have mattered who posted their pics on here. You or anybody else for that matter. You have, if nothing else insulted evo owners. You insulted me is just getting yourself worked up. I know what's in my driveway.
BOV= Rice and you don't "need" one on our cars unless your big turbo anyways which I am not, plus who the hell can hear a BOV over a CTi Side Exit 3" catless, resless, mufflerless TBE anyways? It did have one however I spent an hour removing that damned Mopar BOV plate from the bottom of the turbo, such a tight squeeze and there is no room for a ratchet. And for the "american built car" thing? alot of that car is mitsubishi I thought... doesn't daimler/chrysler have relations with mitsu? Hence 3000gt/Stealth/Eclipse/Laser/Talon??? Hell our turbo the TD04 is the same thing as a 16G.
