Would you buy Elise over Evo
no but i would take an Exige...they look so sick! the only thing that i can say negative about the evo is it isnt a chick magnet...i have had one girl compliment my car...she was japanese and her brother owned an Evo 6 so she knew what it was. that is it.
but in the whole scheme of things who cares about that. lol

After sitting in one at the auto show, I can say yes, and I will be trading for one come spring. By the way, Im almost 6'-2" here, and I fit fine. Getting is is the hardest part, not too bad once inside...
car is def sick... i love the way it looks, but i dont think i would trade my evo for it.. maybe as a second.. hmm that would be pretty crazy.. the more i think about it the more i want one haha
This is a joke , right? They have an 05 on there selling for $39000. They have great resale value. In fact its a big topic how a decent one cannot be found used for less than $30000....
I would buy one if I could afford one. They are just two different kinds of cars. One is fun and fast yet practical and the other a complete toy. That is why I think it is so stupid when people gut their cars or put huge turbos on them because it totally takes a way from what makes an EVO a great well balanced fun yet pratical car.
well i own a 00 celica gt and i found out the elise has the same engine the gt-s version has which is ok its just super light weight which is why its fast and the engine is a little fixed up. either way though it is a nice car but i like my evo better. now if they were to put the evo engine (and have it AWD) into the elise that would be another story.
They are a very strange car ergonomically speaking. The leg tunnels did not feel straight to me. Similar to a mid to late nineties era Viper (I haven't driven a Snake since then). I like driving with my feet directly in front of me. It did not feel this way in the Elise.
I am 5'9 160 and the car felt TINY.
I hated the power band. It felt like a Honda. No torque and you had to drive it like you hate it to get anything out of it. I kept waiting for it to get really cool, but it didn't.
In the end, for me personally, I can appreciate their abilities but would not want to drive one on the street. I would, however, pick one up for dedicated track use.
