the rs4 is a nice car but lacks the functionality, 4wd performance of the evo. true it is luxurious, fast and fat that is why you pay the premium. but if it is all out performance you like the evoIXMR defines the genre as what evocarmagazine stated when they compared the evoixmr vs porsche carrera4 and the rs4. on the same issue, they compared the rs4 with the MB C55 and the E36 M3(previous model?) and the result was M3>RS4>C55. btw the 4wd comparo was evo>C4>rs4. it is the february 2006 issue.yup I can afford it but I don't want it

It is probably the best car mag available for the true enthusiast. Their reviews are usually spot on. For they record they really do like the RS4. It is just from a driver's perspective they like the Evo better
Thats my point. The Evo can outperfrom the RS4...but at the end of the day the RS4 is the more expensive, better built, more well rounded package. We arent talking mod vs mod we are talking stock car vs stock car. The Audi does everything, the Evo does 1...but does it oh so well

It all depends on your priorities. Stock for stock I would still buy an Evo. The additional 40K is not worth it to me. If I were into image and cared about what people thought of me and I wanted to show them that I have the money for an 80K car then maybe I would buy an RS4. Since I could care less then it is of no interest.

The RS4 is about 30 times the car an Evo is. If someone had the keys to both and offered one of the other, youd pick the rs4 any day of the year. Just sit in one, and tell me it isint worth the money, let alone drive one.

uh. yeah, if someone were offering be both cars for FREE, OF COURSE I would take the rs4, all i said was it isn't worth the price tag of 75k, out of MY pocket, hey maybe it is for you, but not me.
