Well put. I concur.

3,700+ lbs on the G37 is hefty! I used to complain about my '04 Ivory Pearl 6mt G35 Coupe 3500 lb weight but that's just insane!

The G37 ran 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. That's only 0.1-0.2 faster than a G35.
Small gain in power, small gain in weight. Why would you think the G37 would be a leap in performance?

As for the comparison, I think they're two different niches of the same market. The G37's value quotient is much higher than the 335i.

I didn't, but I had some people telling me it run 4.9 0-60 and be just as fast as the 335i.

Thers no way the G37 runs 0-60 in the high 4,s.The 335 runs it in 4.8-4.9 even though BMW claims 5.3. But they claim that and de-tuned the car because of the new M3 coming out with the 8 cyl.Every 335i tested on a dyno made over 300hp.Closer to 330. I will have my 07 335i coupe,Space grey mettalic, aluminum trim w/black leather, sport pack,6spd. MT in 3- 4 weeks after ordering it in the first week of june. Cant wait. Turning 50 changed my taste in cars somewhat, and i,m ready for a car like the 335i coupe after 2 Evo,s.An 03 8 (modded) Trent from Buschur bought it BTW,and an06 BR350 IX,which i really miss. The Evo will always be in my heart and soul as far as best bang for the buck in a RAW performance car.I know i,m gonna love the 335,but i will never compare the two as they are completly different cars. And for sure no matter what i think of the BMW i will never say a negative word about the EVO.

The BMW still kicks its ***! Amazing!

The comparison I can't wait for is the new EVO X vs. the 2009 BMW M3!
