Nah dude, I worked at a Chevy Dealership in the summer a few years ago when the Z06 first came out. I was a big Firebird/Camaro fan so getting into a Vette was like the Shiznit for me, I used to drive up and down hwy 427 at least once a week over my lunch hour just for kicks. Honestly I was impressed at the time but now that I look back on it and think of how hard it was to park that thing because of the long hood, how poor the rear vision was and how many problems/expensive the maintanence on one of those things is I know that it really isn't worth it.
Some poor guy bought a Z06 in May and had it into the dealership 41 times for warranty over the summer. The avg vette owner had the car in 8 times during the summer if it was under warranty and if it wasn't probably around 5.
Now either Canada got the Lemon Vettes or the Electrical on those things is WAYYYY f@cked.
Evolution is a better choice, sure you sacrifice the big engine and the ***** appeal. But you can always bump the power up in the 4g63T. Some of those Japanese guys have them at 500hp.
True the fastest car on Japans Wangan Hwy System is a Corvette driven by a parapeligic (as the rumour goes).....but you've gone from one class of car (RWD American sports/exotic) to (AWD Japanese Rally/Performance). I don't think theres a comparison.
And as for the *****es, you can pull a hoe with any car. Just the other day I got a # of a hot one and I'm not even driving a REAL Evolution.
