both estimates..

so high 11s should be possible.. with a great driver.. a TBE... good tires... a little less conservative tuning.. and a jenny craig package..

that what a stock evo IX MR does!

Meh, the guys a puss. He was talking about the 1/4 not the 1/8th, and btw, he is still insists that its true.... Today when I went down for a cig, he was standing by my car with another of our co-workers and saying that this (imaginary) 8 second 335i race happened in the UK and that the bimmer was running a dual t3/t4 turbo setup... also that mod for mod, it can outrun an evo in the 1/4.... Just goes to show you that money can't buy brains.... So I challenged him in front of our other co-worker to bring any evidence of a 335 that runs 10s or better... He said he'd try to find the article. I said if its true, I'll take him to the track and let him embarrass me and post it on youtube.

Just educate yourself. Then challenge him to a race (on the track of course). Mod for Mod the Evo should still be faster, especially with a guy like him driving.

OK, lets start all over, my response is ground Cero, lets start fresh. The quickest BMW 335i so far is from a guy that had just a Vihnu Procede Piggyback and a set of 275 DR. The car is a blue coupe and auto which runs 12.56@109.

No one knows of any other BMW 335i that runs faster so far. Now lets clarify somethingb though. The person that owns that BMW 335i could be such a stupid, cocky ,ignorant, clueless and arrogant that he might be refering to the 1/8 mile which actually it'sactually an average 1/8 mile run on the stock BMW 335i.

This topic is laughable, it is the clear example of miss interpretation, someone actually making a wrong statement and making the rest of BMW 335i look bad.

It will trully take another few months before we see a BMW 335i perhaps breaking into the 11's. There is simply not enough mods and enough people that catually tested them at the track to be able to put the car into the 11's, it takes a good driver and some mods to do it.

As far is who is Vishnu? Cmon now, be fair, don't act up guys, he is a known tuner with good products and reputation.

My .2c

Carlos

I do recall seing a few videos of some boxy BMW from the late 80s which they misteriouslly call 335i. Some of them are aftermarket turboed and in the hundreds of hp but I don't think they will run 8 sec. I would have to do some searching on youtube and see if he was actuallly refering to the one that I just mentioned.

Definately no 2006-2007 BMW 335i are even on the 11sec yet.

I don't think 335i is capable of running 11s yet.. not with its stock turbos setup.. no way
