Good shops for DSM part?
I am getting back into my 99 Eclipse GST spyder and she need tons of upgrades. Can you DSM guys point me toward some decent shops for factory and performance parts?
Lets see, I'll need:
new valves
valve cover
wheel studs
water pump
belts
FMIC
motor mounts
shocks or CO
catback
convertible canvas top
...
thx!

Ill refer you to a website where you can find nearly all performance parts available. It will help guide you in the right direction. www.dsmtuners.com
Keep this in mind when choosing a shop to help you get your car going again.
There are many places out there that will sell you anything you want for as cheap as they can, but there are very few that will actually consult you on what/what not to buy. The good advise fom a smart shop may save you alot more money from making even one small mistake on an unnecessary or inferior part that some places are just trying to sell because they got a good "buy-in" on.
Good luck with your ride!

Eric

If you are in MD there is Extreme Morotsports in Odenton who use to compete with Shep for fastest times. These guys use to be well known for DSM's, but since have begun to slowly leave the market. I have a friend that works there and they still do things right and will help consult you. The owner is Sean Glazer and my buddy is Bill. There is also Atlantic in DC. These guys are awesome when it comes to Evo's as for DSM's I don't know what there crew has been known for. Turbo Trix is in NJ and were into the DSM crown heavy up until recent and they have died off. Buschur is in Ohio, AMS in Detroit, the two best in my personal experiance
. Slowboy is not one of my fav because of some past experiances. Chad at CBRD in York PA does great work, but I don't know if he has dug into DSM's much. If he hired me I would do your car for you,
god knows I have worked on enough of them, owned numerous 1G's and 2G's and worked at a shop. Mach V in VA is also an option. These guys have been in it for as long as I know, but don't know of anyone to go there. This is about all I got for this area.....
