Look sorry if it seems like I am in a **** off mood, never thought I'd have to defend an EVO so passionately against other EVO owners. Seriously you guys make me ashamed to be a member of this website. I mean atleast if people's criticism had some weight behind it I can understand, but seriously a lot of this hate is just unjustified.
Not sure why you feel the need to defend the Evo X so much. If you like the car, you like the car. If you don't, you don't. It's really simple why many current Evo owners may not like the new X...because Mitsu didn't design the X for current Evo owners. It's in all their materials. They have a new target audience and designed the car appropriately for that new audience. It will be a great car for that audience. So, of course, many current Evo owners on this forum won't be happy with the new car because it wasn't designed with them in mind.

Don't take it so personal. Nobody is hating on you until you. I know your sig says your the #1 fanboy, but you take it too seriously

You damn right the GT-R owns the EVO, it better for what you pay, come on haters you guys are just getting stupid now.

Did you see the skeleton shots of the drivetrain and transmission, along with the suspension? Double-wishbone aluminum control arms in the front.

There are TWO driveshafts on the thing. Those are metal. Time for some ACPT carbon fiber magic!

That exhaust can be improved upon in so many ways. There is so much hidden horsepower in that thing, it's ridiculous.

The GT-R is my next car. Keeping the Evo. Adding the GT-R

What can I love about the evo X??? the fact that my favorite motor of all time no longer exist??? idc if the evo x's 4b11 can make 20 million hp even! Maybe 20 years from now when it comes as far as the 4g63 has, THEN i'll find it in my heart to love it.. until then, mitsu has ruined a good thing.... for the past almost 20 years the evo HASN'T come a long way cause it didn't need to.. all had the same heart and the same idea in mind.... 20 years! the evo X is on it's own.. sorry but it's not the same car as the evo 1-9.... maybe 20 years from now you can look back and talk about how amazing the evo was leaving the evo 1-9 out of it and starting the evo 10 all over again at 1.....

there.. im backing my opinion up....
