Question trading in question

I hope this is the right forum, but I am planning on trading in my Accord for the evo in a couple of months, but I have clear markers/turn signals and an AEM CAI and Stereo in it.

I don't have the stock radio (it died) but here are my questions
For the best value on trade in:

1) Should I return the car back to "normal" by removing the clear markers and CAI?

2) Remove my Amp/sub combo (though I would be hesitant to put it in the evo...weight...I already want the sunroof )

Usually good idea to put back to stock... lose value with aftermarket parts. You should be ok with leaving the stereo.

Take everything out and sell them to Accord owners.

If you like your head unit, I say you better keep it. It's cheaper to buy a factory deck to put back in the Accord, than buying an aftermarket deck to put in the evo.

Yeah, definately put it back to stock as much as possible. Aftermarket head unit are normally OK but as a consumer who's in the market for a new used car, I know I wouldn't even think about buying a car that has performance parts added to it because of a big possibility that the car was abused i.e. drag racing or consistently being taken to redline for speeding. Of course that might not be always the case but better safe than sorry.

You'd still get the most money if you sell the car on your own.

Yea, If you plan on trading it in, put it to stock and sell the parts to other accord owners. Dealers don't care for aftermarket parts

Except when they are the ones selling them!
