RWD Hyundai
I'd say 3400-3450 is minimum, but I could easily see it being over 3500lbs.
The 350z is a much bigger car. Look at a car that's more comparable in size, such as the Pontiac/Saturn Solstice/Sky. They come in at about 2900 lbs. Hyundai should be able to stay within 200 lbs of that. Not sure where you got the V8 thing from, Hyundai is only offering either a turbo 4 cyl or a 6 cyl engine.

Where did you find the size at? By the way it looks in the pictures, it isn't much smaller than a Mustang. I seriously doubt it'll be the size of a little 2-seater roadster.
As for the size, I may just be in denial. The car does look pretty big in the picture, but at the same time I can't imagine it being that big if they're looking to stay in the same relative market as the previous Tibs.
I think people are just getting confused between the new Tib and the Genesis concept.

This car will be well under 3400lbs. I bet its going to come in around 3100.
Its funny they have it next to the mustang. It was said last year the Genesis would have a 4.6L v-8. Not going to happen. But an inline 4 banger with a turbo will be very cool in deed.
They just had a blurb in Autoweek. But no mention of a rear diff?
They also said New York Auto show for a production version , with sales starting Mid 2008 as a 2009 model.
Congrats to Hyundai. Im really liking the rear drive 335i Im driving. Fun to kick the tail out and do some long burn outs!
Great car for the low $20k's
