Nice, that vette is truly fast even with so-so shifting but I guess at that power level anyone could start to feel overwhelmed by the car .

LOL at the guy who block-off his ears before and after the dyno runs . Please, I consider that sound decent compare to be at a dyno with a 900whp civic bouncing off the limiter....NOW THAT'S LOUD!!!

do you have a mod list? curious to see what's required to get to that sort of power in a 1st gen Z06.

I was going to say that the video was lame because it didn't show any 1/4 mile times in the footage from the strip...but the sound, the squatting of the rear end when it hit 2nd, made me think that I should probably hold my tongue before I made a fool of myself.

Good thing...my jaw dropped when I saw the dyno sheet and timeslip. How's the driveability with that kind of power?

The recipe for that kind of power is pretty simple on the LS series engines. All I have are heads, cam and obviously a blower. My motor is forged but some guys are doing those times on bone stock short blocks with just a cam and blower. They're all running auto's though to get those kinds of times, so there dyno numbers are a little lower then mine.

The car perfectly streetable and can be driven anywhere. its not at all what you would expect from something that makes 700+HP on 93 oct & runs nines. It passes safety and emissions inspection, runs full cats, has no weight reduction and still keeps all the power options including AC. I drive it all the time, I drove it into work today and I'm looking at it in the parking lot as I type this.

All of the runs on the vid are in the mid 10s @ 130ish w/ 1.4 - 1.5 60's. I didn't get my 9 second pass on video. I know the vid is pretty weak, it was my first attempt at editing anything. maybe on the next one I'll figure out how to add music and text.

Thanks for the complments.

Here are some vids from the very first time I had it at the strip

11.0 @ 135

10.4 @ 135

10.7 @ 133 - sideways in 1st gear & my first ever 1.4 - 60'

10.6 @ 130 - the car ran out of fuel on this pass
