Evo X vs. Evo VIII and IX
I think the X makes a better show car. They look MEAN when they are lowered on a big, wide, aggressive wheel. If i were to a second Evo, to daily, I think it would be a X. The only complaint of how they look is from the back. That tall, flat rear is very uninspiring. I can live with it, though.
Fastest Evo X mile results I could find:
Eric Koester and his team at Kozmic Motorsports took their record breaking EVO X to a new record breaking 200.8MPH at The Texas Mile. Their Mitsubishi Evolution 10 broke the 200MPH barrier and is the first of its kind to do so. Congrats to Eric and his team. was Kozmic Motorsports 2013 run at 200.8MPH

While the AMS EVO VIII ran 228mph in 2010
If you can find a faster X, please post it up.

Aero dinamics engine AWD ... because can run.....................
237 mph... lol
well there is a whole WORLD out there... As soon as you leave the USA border magic happens... Like Global time attack. lol only in America, or auto X.
but anyway . these are the def. dividing points and bench marks on the car which was never planned neither designed , you guessed it... neither of these sports.

If I understand this right:
The CT9A may dominate everything in the U.S., but there's a whole world out there, so we should all trade them in for Xs.
Records and podium finishes mean nothing because this is just Ameica.

I'd like to try a X to see how it compares.
the USA logic makes no sense - if the X's are dominating world-wide, then they should be dominating here - but they are not (in track or autocross).
The RS diff is better than the USDM rear diff but it's still not as good as an aftermarket one. I'm stunned that those high horsepower cars are leaving crucial parts like that alone. Perhaps the lack of AYC in our cars in the states pushed the awareness of what rear diffs can do. ACD tuning is common overseas, and as far as I'm aware, disables AYC.
not exactly 8/9 v X, but awesome vid I just saw on jalop:
