Unfortunately, it may be a while. For some reason, I was thinking he had an ECU ready to ship out. She wants me to send mine in, but I don't think I have a long enough break in between events. If I can't borrow a Tactrix cable from somebody, I will need to wait until the end of the year.

Might be worth just buying a 2nd ACD ECU (they are pretty cheap on ebay), then send them that one to flash. Then you can just swap it in.

maybe, but my budget is pretty tight with everything else going on right now. I am stingy and would have a hard time buying something that I was going to be stuck with later LOL

It's much more willing to rotate at part throttle. It also seems easier to get into oversteer without having to pass through the "push phase", if that makes sense. I used to either rotate off throttle or REALLY muscle the rear end around. Anything in between pushed. Weight transfer, and all.
Now I can get on the gas sooner, and have more throttle to play with.

So ive been kind of poking around on here and correct me if im wrong but it seems that the X makes horespower much easier when it comes to just minor bolt ons where as the 8/9 seem to need a bit more parts to get similar horespower (the 300-350hp range). We all know that the 4g63 is the better for high numbers all day but mod for mod early on the 4b11 is easier? Ive always been partial to the 8/9 but have been having troubles finding a decent one so i have been exploring maybe a X. Is this right or am i just way off?

yes, I believe 4b11s respond to standard bolt ons better than the 4g63
