New Bullitt Mustang; $7K mark-up

This in Upsate NY; I'd expect that in SoCal or in FL where 70% of the world's Mustangs live but this is ridiculous! Best looking of the new 'Stangs IMO minus the Parnelli Jones edition..

lol, with 12000 million dollar deficit for the fiscal year 2007 I don't think Ford motor company is in a situation to be cocky enough to ask $7000mark up for a Mustang Bullit.

They are in no way and shape to be competitive at all. If you have Mercedes and BMW that are selling cars now bellow $30000 Ford wouldn't stand a chance.

It is just a name hype..

Wasn't there suppose to be a Boss Mustang with an all-new 5.0? I'd rather have that over green paint and a few horsepower.

It's not Ford, its the dealers. They always mark up the special edition stangs because there is a demographic that is willing to pay it.

Is it worth it on a bang for buck scale, no, does it help ford's cause, no, does it matter, NO. As long as the market dictates this price, this price it will stay. As long as some dumbass is willing to fork over that cash to say he has a good ol Mustang Bullitt, they will keep selling them

Ford's financial situation does not equal a Ford dealer's financial situation.
