I wasn't looking for budget power. I am fine with the hpf kit and reliability. I just think TazaM3's car is sick. I am not looking to push the car that hard. But I doubt the AA will not be coming out with a similar kit and similar price as well.

And if I wanted something in the middle VFE or AA supercharger's would be just fine.

You will love the total feel of a bimmer over your evo.

Like you said,, how much hp can you use on the streets?

The competion pack is nice, but the crap they put on the steering wheel is shietttttttt. Should have left it leather.

Its not as good of a daily, espeically since you are in NJ.

Its steering doesn't have the feel of an evo and the ride quality is very similar.

Its pros against the evo are
-Throttle response
-Engine sound
-Looks

My roomate has an 06-07(whatever the last year was) m3 smg, black with cinnamon interior. Its a vert so its sweet for the daily, chicks love it lol. I think the smg is tight the cars never had a problem it just got a reflash and throttle body adjustment at the dealer, it actually got faster. Throttle response is the ****, its so easy to get sideways in that car, tap the paddle down and mash it and turn the wheel a little and your sideways. It sweet, he has a 500hp rb25 swapped s14 and he's satisfied with the power for a daily. Bmw's paid for everything so far, the warranty is EXTENSIVE, its nice. The weather stripping on the door keeps having to get fixed, and the thigh bolster on the driver seat collapsed, but other than that no complaints. His license is suspended so I always drive him around in it.

EDIT. O and its crazy expensive he paid like 81k out the door brand new. Used should go for around 61k. His payments are 1200$ a month. Oouch

No way $81K that is way to much money for a M3!

^ 81k out the door. It was sticker for like 73k. It was tax title license and a phoenix adjusted market value. I make fun of him everyday for it lol, he payed way to much I was like dude you should have bought an R35 GTR. Haha, he's like whatever, it was the last brand new m3 in AZ. It had every option too.

looking at the low-mileage m3's, it almost seems worth it to pick up a 335i coupe instead.

You're right. I would love to go for the 335i coupe, but after seeing the e92 M3 (which I can't afford lol), the body lines on the e92 335i look soooo bland hah, theres no flares or anything, just very dull.

I know its stupid, but it makes a diff. to me lol

Naj, why don't you get a cheap daily driver, and make Evo dedicated weekend Track car. Theres nothing like going 140mph knowing there is a tight right corner just ahead of you.

Anyways, if you decide to get M3, good luck. 01-07 are beautiful cars, and you can't go wrong with them. Just wondering how long will it take you to mod the **** out of it hehe... remember modding M3 is $$$$$$$$

Dude don't post those sexy e46 M3 pics, it's tempting me to go out and buy one and I can't afford it right now.

As for the newer e92 body style, ehhhh it's okay but I definitely prefer the older model
