As for the newer e92 body style, ehhhh it's okay but I definitely prefer the older model
I hear ya on that, however give it some time, once we start seeing them in person, and become more accustomed to them, it'll grow on ya

Duno if you've seen this before...

new M3 is sick. but GTR is a much better buy at that price point. Don't know the msrp of the new M3, but even if it were 10-20gs lower than GTR, i wouldn't mind paying the difference.

E46 M3 is an amazing car, and a great DD. Its luxurious, and sporty. Sure, a modded Evo is faster, but speed isnt everything. GF likes it much more than the Evo too.

Here's some pics of mine. I had all the mods you listed in your first post. Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, 19" SSR GT3s, Full Eisenmann Race Exhaust.

It had GREAT pull down low. It wasn't monstrous, but more than enough for normal driving. There is a reason the S54 won International Engine of the Year for SIX straight years.

Jean, the new M3 is way overpriced. Nicely optioned its above 70k msrp, and dealers are charging ridiculous mark ups.

That is true. However in a few months to a year, they will be sitting on the lott. Dealers will be losing money, the so called "market adjustment" will go away. lease rates will go down.

I wouldnt buy a first year BMW anyway. I would wait till the kinks (if any) get worked out first.

Naj, here's an article on supercharged E46 from Eurotuner magazine. I'm not sure you wanna go this extreme but the article claimed 511whp with crappy California 91 octane.
http://www.eurotuner.com/featuredveh...ged/index.html
Although I can't seem to find it in their site, in their current issue euro tuner also featured a white supercharged E46 belonging to Magnus Bjornerhag from Sweden. You might wanna go get the issue. He is running Active Autowerke Supercharger (Florida based company) which produces 520 whp. By the way, the owner chose Volk TA CE28s for his car. Amazing looking car imo.

I would imagine your probably somewhat close to paying off the evo right? I'm going to pay my evo off before I ever get rid of it or get anything else. I saw you at ICS, your young haha you got a lot more life in ya for more toys.

Just think too, by the time you pay your car off, there might be something even nastier then that m3, or maybe even that m3 will be cheaper by that time. That's the mind set I try to keep haha.

I'm hoping when my car is paid off I'll be able to grab myself an elise or exige.
