PS... $20k range isn't cheap for a car that is almost 20 years old and can be had for peanuts over there.

 

Maybe not cheap relative to japan prices, but 20k is not unreasonable for evo owners, and the market in japan has other factors that artificially depreciate values such as mileage tax. I think you statement of having to be rich is a bit of an overstatement. Even federal motorex R32s were in the upper 20's. If you can afford an evo, or for that matter a new camry, its not a stretch to get one of these. Sure the Kaizo R34 at 70k is a bit different and would be reserved for someone with a higher income, but that is a different situation.

 

the thing that sux is the kaizos have no engines. but i know you can get a engine from them or somethin even though they say you cant.
