Which Car To Get?

Hey guys, I currently have a 06 Evo IX and a 01 Intrepid R/T. I'm looking to sell the Intrepid, already have a buyer lined up. My question is, what new car would you guys get for around $20,000? I've looked at 2.5 Imprezas($19500), Civic Si($19700), MS3($21500), and fully loaded Focus SES($16500). Just wondering what anyone here thinks and if there is anyone with these cars that can shed some light on how they like them.

Keep in mind, the car would be a daily driver, IX is stored winters

I was looking at Lancer GTS's but they don't have any of the new ones out yet with the 2.4L

Thanks

until last month the first thing i would say would be scratch the focus as an option, but that has all changed.

Me and a friend got one as a rental car. It was pre-paid and everything was all happy, until we found out that when we called and asked if me only being 23 was a problem and they said no, what that meant is we are going to charge you $40 extra a day for all 6 days. So at this point we were pretty pissed.

That car Took everything we could trough at it and didn't miss a beat. I have never seen a car take as much as a beating as this car did, i was very impressed, and with all of our abuse and having the ac on the whole time we still got about 37 mpg.

It is surprisingly a very nice car for the price.

I was actually surprised that Honda came down from $22000 on the Si, it's white, a very nice car. The Focus I liked just because it's got a lot of options on, just no rear disc brakes. Wish the 2.4 GTS's would come out in the next month so I could see how they are.

I'd take an Si and MS3 over the GTS, anyway. Try to get the MS3, great combination of practicality and power.

Or keep the dodge and mod the evo more

lol, I like the R/T, just a really big car for what I need.

Evo will be modded regardless if I keep the Intrepid or not.

i wouldn't get the MS3 if only because the ability to get decent gains for little money is so tempting and a DD is something I want to have no urge to mod. The Si would be my choice, it's a waste modding them if you aren't going to turbo it. Plus the Si is going to retain it's value longer than any of the others.

Si or 2.5. AWD is nice in a DD, and the Si will hold value.

Hey guys, thanks for the input.....I ended up going with the 2008.5 Mazda 3 s Touring 5 Door. It's Crystal White, I'll get pics up soon. It just handled better than the Civic or Subaru, and the interior was so much nicer.
