Well I have an 03 EVO and a 96 T67 supra, and its two differen't worlds. I really like the EVO fun car, but i love my supra. I would get rid of my evo way before the supra.

WHAT??? For every one 1,000hp evo out there, there are easily 50 1,000hp mustangs. For every supra there's at least 20!

Proportionally, the 4G63 makes more power than the 2jz, it just happens that the Supra engine starts with a greater engine.

U mean stock for stock hp? Potential hp? ...... b/c if u mean potential, the evo certainly doesn't "easily top" the hp/displacement of that of the supra.

Consider taking your Evo and Putting a HUGE Turbo on it, Fuel system, engine management, and clutch and running these times over and over again. Stock top and bottom end, Stock Transmission, Stock Drive Shaft, Stock Rear End, Stock Rear Axles. Throw a set of Slicks on and Drop the clutch. Do you think your car can take 800 WHP with that many stock parts on it?

The fact is The supra is the only Japanese car so far that can nearly triple it's own horsepower with really very few upgrades.

My friend has beat on his car with the same powertrain parts for almost 2 years now and it doesn't even flinch. He puts down 840 WHP on a Dynojet with c16.

My other friend has a supra that just looks plain sick!

It's a great car etc but if u want a 2jz get a is300 or lexis sc300 much cheaper not so hyped - I drive my mk4 and everyone wants to race and assume your like the fastest car on the planet and my **** is stock! Gets tedious as a dd

I really like the Supras, but I don't think their "godly" image comes from their stock form obviously. Like others said, that comes from how much power they can reliably handle on mostly stock parts. Also, obviously that they haven't been made for over 10 years, that creates somewhat of a mystique about them.

I wants a New Supra,, as in 2010-2012, with that sweet 5.0 v8.

The body lines of the last generation is timeless, I love the back 3/4 and rear end.

i still love the supra .. but it just that they are very overpriced car for being a 15 year old car... i can understand that u put alot of money into the car to make it a dyno queen but it doesnt mean u have to get all the money u put into the car back .. everyone knows u can't get back the full retail.. that is why i dont have a supra right now.. and I own a evo !!

i mean i would lvoe to own a supra over the evo ... but for todays purposes i like the evo and how it handles the roads... supras are a big deal in my town cause no one literally owns one and if u see one its like sex hahaha.. i try to be different from everyone else and got the evo but now there a bunch of sti and evo in my area .. which is cool but not cool ...hahaa

SO i say.. i would own both if i could hahahha
