What about tht HTA 3065..... I mean this is a turbo with a 35r wheel and a 30r hotside wheel. So when it gets changed out to the HTA its going to be on. This turbo may not have as much top end maybe. But the wtq is going to out do the 35r and Im sure it will hit harder and faster.....( The HTA Version ).

This is suposed to be releasing soon

I think the 30r hotside wheel is a mismatch for the 35r compressor wheel. It works ok in the FP DSM bolt-on housing (3065), but will show it's limitations alot sooner in the .82 T3 housing. Going with what others have said, the HTA would give you the spool of the 3082 with the power of the 35r.

You might also want to look at the Borg Warners. I ran an S258 in the .70 T3 housing on my DSM, spooled faster than similar 35r setups, made great power. I made 457whp on straight pump gas on a bone stock engine other than FP2 cams.

I dont think people are accounting for you having a 2.4. You will spool significantly faster than we will. 35r all the way

based on horsepower goal alone 35r is your only option from the Garrett camp.

i had a s258 hybrid... a BW s258 compressor mated to a garret T31 .63ar and a turbonetics s3 turbine...

duno if it was the mix of the combination, or what...but i HATED that thing. laggy. lacked any impressive power, and jus was defenseless to holding its own.

i almost bought a s362, but i held back. that experience made me weary of BW turbos...but again, couldve been due to the hybrid combination.

i wish more srt owners would try the HTA's out...
only ONE guy on our site has the HTA35r and is spooling at 4200...which is no better than a standard gt35r/.82ar ...hes using AEM EMS boost control i believe for his situation.

outside of the 50trim/3076r realm, our srt community lacks serious diversity.
