I agree you can't compare one to the other. But price wise the Genesis Coupe is fully loaded for roughly 31,000(3.8 V6 Track) thats not bad.

This would be a good DD car. What I'm also interested in is the Toyota/Subaru Boxer RWD coupe.

if it ever comes out. last i read was that it was on hold due to how poorly their sales were going but it looks like it might be perking up soon.

Hyundai has come along way from when they started. heck we just traded in my wife's toyota for a 2008 hyundai santa fe! its nice and comfy and quiet. and for a 2.7 V6 (small v6) its not to bad for DDing. heck it even has XM radio, PS, and PW. for me thats a big thing since i DD a IX RS

they had a V6 genesis there at the time but i couldnt test drive it at the time due to lack of time on my part but i got to sit in it and it was pretty impressive. the interior felt big and the material was good. it also has the fast key transmitter and it has a push button start stop. the sticker on that one was a little over 32K

i like that car, its awsome, but no, it does not over take the evo. it comes close! hyundai has very good quality. but nothing tops an evo.
i would NEVER sell my evo for a genesis

I just did the switch from an Evo 8 to the Genesis Coupe 2.0T and it was a mistake. The car is a lot slower, it can't handle in the rain, the interior feels cheap, the manual transmission is awful, the Hyundai 4B11 is far inferior to the one in the Evo X, and my insurance went up as it's a 2 door RWD sports car instead of an AWD sport sedan. Definitely a bad move...
