Easily the Viper. Great chassis, great power, power potential, and it's a convertible. Or the Viper GTS for a hard top with all the greatness of the SRT-10 (minus a spot of power).

Try driving an Atom or Elise to work...everyday. Even a Viper is more reasonable.

GT3.... the viper is an awesome car, but from working on the other body style, it'll fall apart in a few years as expected from all Dodges... the skyline is another good choice, however i don't think it's fair to put it in there because it's not like we can drive/ride in it compared to the other vehicles....

I still keep the GT3, it is the faster in top speed, the fastest in acceleration, and the quality built is just top notch.

Correct me if I am wrong but what is about the Skyline so special? you use to get a Twin Turbo Nissan 300Z for less and more power or cars like the Mitsubishi 3000VR4 but I never understood why the Skyline is so Special.

Last but not least what about the 2 new Porsches(911 and 911S) ? what about the NSX? they are great cars as well.

The vette Z06 is definately my second choice, there is nothing that gets close for that price.

The EVO is just the bomb, it is indeed the most affordable of all but you can make it faster than all on them for less than $3 or $4k.

 

If I need snob appeal, then the Porsche or the Merc. Otherwise, the EVO and mods. The EVO has to be the best point to point car for a daily driver under real world conditions....rain, snow

Word. Or the new M5. I think the new C6 ZO6 is bad a$$ too...so I voted for that. Should run with the Viper (more or less) for much less $ and still be ok to use as a daily driver.

Obviously, if someone was just handing out cars Id take the GT3 or something, but factor in value and I think the new ZO6 walks away from the competition. Especially since half the people in my area can get a GM discount for one and walk away spending no more than 40k. Heck, ive heard of people spending almost that much on MR's....

i didn't know the GT3 was under 100k, but that's definitely one. Z06 is awesome, but cheapie GM interior. NSX is a beautiful car, anyone who complains about the power has never owned/driven one (i had a 93 which had 20 less hp and loved every second of it).

 

You will never find a GT-3 for less than $100,000. The list price does not include needed items like seat covering, steering wheel type, interior materials etc....Real price is between $113,000 to $150,000 without dealer markup.

 

but the limit to $125k or whatever it is and i would say the ztuned gtr i believe that is 500hp and runs 10.1 and is the fastest production car ever.

 

I voted Skyline. The best car is kinda loose, but I interpreted best as meaning the best street car. I will take a an AWD platform over any v10 or v8 with rear wheel drive. I would like to see a viper cut a 60 foot under 1.9 even with sticky street tires.
