You could get the Road Race air intake kit (an MAF adapter with a K&N cone filter), it's cheap n' dirty but it gets the job done. It's sub 100 bucks to. What kind of power are you looking at? Don't look for substantial power with just plain ol' bolt ons. How much money are you willing to spend to?

For your question, the cheapest ways are always DIY, I can think of DIY ram air intake with K&N filter. Remove un-necessary parts from your car to lighten it up.
