I believe there are a few people on this forum who have ran mid 12s on a bone stock Evo. I'd consider that impressive given the fact that it makes under 300awhp and weighs 3200 or more lbs. A car making over 700 ft-lbs of torque @ 2k, weighing around 3300 lbs, riding on DRs and running a 10.0 isn't impressive. Another impressive feat is a 3200 lb car making 670awhp running 9.1.

I haven't seen anyone post a 12.5 or so on a stock Evo, the fastest I've seen is a 12.9ish. Where is this full weight Evo running 9.1? Also look at the trap speeds.

This is basically a stage 1 car doing 10.0's.... I'm sure they havent had a ton of seat time either, I put money it improves another 2-4 tenths. Headerback is probably going to unlease another 70-100whp and put the car into deep 9's while still being completely reliable and daily drivable.

We're talking about a car that has next to nothing done that will probably still get warrantied when it goes to the shop for trouble. I wish i had that, I wouldnt be afraid to mod. A friend of mine with a GTO blew a strut after adding springs and they replaced all his struts then aligned his car under warranty.

Dyno is just a tuning device for all we know the dyno could read high!! The car went 10.0's@141 in normal air and will go 9's in normal air. FWIW, the northeastern guys have a a few ZR-1's in their ranks and expect 9.50's-9.60's in the air up there with bolt ons.

Saying a car isn't running to its potential is one thing. Throwing in the EVO comment is what made it retarded!! How many full interior, street tired, pump gas, A/C included, EVO's are out there running 10.0's@141mph anyway?

I can count 1 car!! I like EVOs alot (for what they are) Most Wanted's latest times are unreal, but this is a bolt on car running what it just did is very impressive, and this is the first time at the track.

As impressive as Dave's car is it doesn't fit the criteria. So, go back to the drawing board and find me a full weight EVO with A/C that runs 10.0's@141mph on pump gas not using quicktime pros or motorcycle slicks.

I already no the answer, but let's see if you can find it

Criteria? Ok...there is no sense in continuing this discussion. You have your opinions and I have mine.

Last comment: I would be one pissed off person if I spent over $125k on a car only to run 10s (maybe high 9s on a good day).

And yet you spent 30000$ on a hopped up Lancer that runs 13s (12s on a good day). The ZR1 is a super car, people spend double to get less performance.
Some nice comparison stats
Aston Martin DBS (276000$)
4.1 0-60 MPH
12.4 1/4 mile at 115 MPH
191 MPH top speed

Bugatti Veyron (1482000$)
2.6 0-60 MPH
10.2 1/4 mile at 143 MPH
253 MPH top speed

Corvette ZR1 (117000$)
3.3 0-60 MPH
11.4 1/4 mile at 125 MPH
205 MPH top speed

Ferrari Enzo (652000$)
3.3 0-60 MPH
11.1 1/4 mile at 133 MPH
218 MPH top speed

Mercedes SLR McLaren (455000$)
3.5 0-60 MPH
11.5 1/4 mile at 126 MPH
207 MPH top speed

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR (33000$)
4.9 0-60 MPH
13.6 1/4 mile at 100.9 MPH
162 MPH top speed

Yeah the ZR1 sure is a disappointment . Here's a nice stat, the ZR1 reaches 100 MPH in 7.4 seconds, the Evo takes 13.3 seconds to accomplish the same thing.
